Drawing and portraits are the beginning of my artistic work. From drawing I have moved first to mixed media, then to painting and finally to sculpture.

Drawing is still the foundation in everything I do. Welding iron is very much like drawing, and drawing is as much about perceiving and knowing the shape as working on clay.
